Uber saw a unique opportunity to capture riders' attention during their downtime during trips. In-Ride time became the perfect moment to engage their riders in an immersive, non-intrusive ad experience. Teaming up with Netflix, Uber launched the first to platform AR experience of Red Light, Green Light inspired by Squid Game.

The launch of the AR experience was accompanied with an on-site activation hosted at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium where Squid Game’s iconic Pink Guards greeted riders while they boarded Uber shuttles. The campaign promoted the show's premiere while also pioneering a scalable new ad format model for rideshare verticals.
