At Cannes 2022, Reddit Explorers Club was introduced — a surreal adventure clubhouse where intrepid marketers can traverse Reddit’s exciting terrain, connecting with ideas, users, communities along the way. From charting a course to brand engagement to seeing the treasures of different subreddits, Explorers will discover what they, and their company, are in search of.

Transported to another world

Our team was tasked with creating a world that felt whimsical and discoverable. Inspired by the landscape of Cannes beachside with a touch of Wes Anderson aesthetic, Subtropic visualized a place where elements felt retro, hand made with a little bit of new tech. The final output was featured in all digital and provided visual direction for the event’s pop up space.
